All training through the County and online course work is free of charge.
Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training promotes a partnering effort between emergency services and the people they serve. The goal is for emergency personnel to train members of neighborhoods, community organizations or workplaces in basic response skills. CERT members are then integrated into the emergency response capability for their area.
Grant County asks everyone to embrace the personal responsibility to be prepared, to get training in first aid and emergency skills and to volunteer to support local emergency responders. Volunteers can come from a wide variety groups including, but not limited to:
